Altogether, our three museum sites have been open nearly 30 years and our continued success is only possible because of our wonderful team of volunteers!
Feeling bored? Need experience? Want to meet new people? Hoping to make a difference?
You could volunteer with us if you enjoy any of the following…
…talking to people, guiding groups, teaching groups, gardening, making things, cleaning things, selling things, researching, cataloguing, conserving, fund-raising, marketing, painting, repairing, office work, IT projects, being in costume, being in role, being creative, sharing ideas and looking after visitors and other volunteers...
All ages, all abilities, all welcome!
If you are interested in doing something for us, why not pop in for a chat sometime?
Call or email Wendy and find out what you can do with us!
If you are already a member or volunteer with Ripon Museum Trust, thank you for your continued support. We are immensely grateful for everyone’s contribution to the Trust, whether you are giving us your time, your expertise, your energy, or all three!
If you are not a member and would like to join us, you will be supporting us financially (at a bargain price!) and also helping to maintain three unique buildings with fascinating histories. You will also be able to make a difference to the future of the Trust by voting on particular issues as they arise, in particular, to any changes in the constitution.
Members also get unlimited free entrance to all three museums along with any accompanying children under 16.
Please join as a Member and help us look after Ripon heritage; support our projects with the community and local organisations; and come along and visit us when we have our special event days.
