What our young volunteers say:

“Everything is different and there is such a wide range of activities and roles to do. There is such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and you learn lots of new things.”
“Volunteering gives you the opportunity to engage with a wide range of people from working with those at the museum to talking to visitors. It has given me an insight into the tourism side of Ripon that I’d never considered. Finally it is very useful in showing me what studying history at University can lead to in terms of museums.”
“The people you work with are kind”
“Meet new people and having fun!”
“ I like dressing up, doing role play and entertaining visitors”
