Women in Police: Past & Present Thursday October 13

Join Ripon Museum Trust on October 13th for three short talks from a panel of speakers made up of academics and serving Police Officers that explore the role of women in the Police.

The first talk will begin with a historic overview of the history of women in the Police from Dr Louise Jackson. The next two talks will be personal stories from serving North Yorkshire Police Officers about what it is like to be a woman in the Police today.

The talks will begin at 19:00 and finish at approximately 20:00 followed by 20 minutes for questions.

The Zoom link will be emailed out 24 hours before the talk is due to take place.
