In Victorian times it was the task of some of the inmates to prepare the food for everyone at the Workhouse. We’re bringing our original kitchen back to life this Summer as we bake our own tasty treats. Come to the Workhouse Museum and get stuck in as you learn a new recipe. We are running more baking sessions than ever before, so this is your chance to come and have a go!
Sessions will take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the Summer holidays between 11:00am-3:00pm (Last batch at 2:30pm). This is a free, drop-in activity so there is no need to book.
This is one of the many fun and creative activities included in the price of your annual pass across our three museums. Make sure you check our ‘Things To Do’ page to see what we have coming up.
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. If you, or your child has an allergy, please make our team aware and we can advise you as best we can, but please be aware that we cannot cater to all allergies.
This Activity is at the Workhouse Museum.
