Ripon is a cathedral city located in North Yorkshire, within easy travelling distance of Harrogate and York.

Run by the National Trust, this World Heritage Site is located a short distance outside Ripon. Visitors can explore the ruins of Fountains Abbey, which was founded in 1132, and wander the Studley Royal water gardens and deer park.
