We are busy with essential renovation and restoration work at the Workhouse Museum, which means one of our buildings is temporarily closed.

While this important work takes place, there’s still plenty to see and do at the Workhouse Museum and across our other museums – the Prison & Police Museum and the Courthouse Museum. Discover compelling, real-life stories of poverty, crime and punishment in Victorian Yorkshire, brought to life through our exhibitions and collections.

Families can also enjoy extra activities and events during all school holidays, including this February half term.
