Flower Weaving – Family Craft Workshop

Wednesday 6th August

Have a go at this traditional craft inspired by our glorious gardens!  In this fun family session, we will be weaving flower shapes to make sure that the inside of the museum looks as bright and bold as our beautiful flower beds, which are now fully in bloom!

This is the perfect holiday activity for little hands to get stuck in to whilst learning a little bit of what life was like in Victorian times.  The session is free with an annual pass to the museum or £2 per child if you just want to drop-in for this individual session.

This craft activity will be held on 6th August.  The morning session will run 10:30am-12:30pm and the afternoon session will run 1pm-3:00pm.  There is no need to book – just come along and get making!

This is one of the many fun and creative activities included in the price of your annual pass across our three museums.  Make sure you check our ‘Things To Do’ page to see what we have coming up.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.  We suggest that this activity is suitable for children 4+  but please be aware that younger children will need help with tasks such as cutting out.

This Activity is at the Workhouse Museum.
