The 2019 AGM marked a milestone in the story of Ripon Museums with the retirement of Anthony Chadwick as a trustee.
Anthony’s involvement with the Trust goes back to its early years in the 1980s and he has been involved throughout with the development of its unique trio of law and order museums.
His background as a secondary school history teacher, a magistrate, an author and a historical researcher has meant he could turn his hand to all aspects of the Trust’s work and the Ripon Museums have benefited enormously as a result.
Fortunately for us, Anthony is continuing his links with the museums as its volunteer historian, a post well-suited to his many talents.
