We are recognised by Arts Council England (ACE) and The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) as worth investing in. As an ACE National Portfolio Organisation we are excited to play our part in delivering the ‘Let’s Create’ strategy through delivering an activity plan and embedding the Investment Principles throughout our organisation and culture. We are also amid a development phase bid to The National Lottery Heritage Fund for our, ‘Inspiration for a Fairer Future’ Project that will transform our visitor experience and our engagement work with our communities. Both these projects require strategic and collaborative leadership to ensure they deliver for all our audiences.
This is the chance for you as the new Director of Museums to shape the strategic direction and delivery of the museums at a pivotal point in our history. This will be a ‘career-making’ role for the right individual. Are you this person?
This will be challenging for sure, but the job satisfaction and team-work rewards will be high. We offer flexibility and high levels of involvement.
