Baking Thumbprint Cookies in our Victorian Kitchen

Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th of May between 11:00am-3:00pm

In Victorian times it was the task of some of the inmates to prepare the food for everyone at the Workhouse.  We’re bringing our original kitchen back to life this May half-term as we create our own tasty treats.

Come and learn as a family how to make thumbprint cookies, a children’s favourite for many generations.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th of May between 11:00am-3:00pm (Last batch at 2:30pm). This is a free, drop-in activity so there is no need to book.

This is one of the many fun and creative activities included in the price of your annual pass across our three museums.  Make sure you check our ‘Things To Do’ to see what we have coming up.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. If you, or your child has an allergy, please make our team aware and we can advise you as best we can, but please be aware that we cannot cater to all allergies.

This Activity is at the Workhouse Museum.
