This half-term we’re taking inspiration from Victorian children’s toy and bringing some of our favourites into the 21st century! Drop into the Workhouse on Wednesday 19th to make your very own hobby horse that you can ride all the way home.
This is a free drop-in session for families, so there’s no need to book! Come to the workhouse museum between 10:30am-12:30pm for the morning session, or 1pm- 3pm for the afternoon session. You’ll be met by our friendly workshop leaders who we will help you create your prize stallion! Afterwards, take you trusty stead out onto our lawns for a ride.
Please note that this workshop is suitable for children 5+. All Children must be accompanied by an adult and smaller children may need help with cutting.
