Get Creative – Victorian Easter Cards

Every day this Easter Half-term (5th-21st of April)

Join us at Ripon Museums this Easter for a fun-filled experience! Discover a variety of activities, learn something new and celebrate the season with us!

Who doesn’t like receiving a card?  Sending cards and postcards to loved ones was made popular by the Victorians, who used them as a fun and decorative way of keeping in contact with friends and family.

This Easter, we’re taking inspiration from the Victorians and will be making traditional Easter cards at the Workhouse.  Pop in to have a go and create your own masterpiece using our Victorian collage materials.

This activity is on everyday at the Workhouse Museum this half-term. This is one of the many fun and creative activities included in the price of your annual pass across our three museums.  Make sure you check our ‘Things To Do’ to see what we have coming up.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.  We suggest that this activity is suitable for children 4+  but please be aware that younger children will need help with tasks such as cutting out.
