What’s the best optical illusion you’ve ever seen? The Victorians were fascinated by illusions and one of their favourites was called a thaumatrope. This simple toy was invented in the early 19th century and quickly became popular amongst children and adults alike.
Come and make your own thaumatrope and watch as your unlucky criminal is put behind bars before your very eyes!
