Business Support Officer – 3 month contract

Workhouse Museum

Join our team !

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at a very exciting time!

The Business Support Officer is a key and varied role. Since 1982 Ripon Museum Trust has run three museums in the heart of the City of Ripon. We are currently looking to recruit a Business Support Officer, for a three month period, to help us manage a busy period for the organisation. You will help with the running of the museums, delivering key administrative duties and supporting a wide range of interesting functions. Each day is different at Ripon Museums and this role will require someone who is flexible.

In addition to office-based work, you may be asked to act as a Duty Officer in the Front of House operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to undertake a mixture of office and customer service focused work. The Duty Officer ensures the smooth running of the front of house operations and may be required to operate a till. It is a varied job and there are many rewards.

Arts Council England (ACE) and The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) recognise our potential and consider us worth investing in,.

The next couple of years promise to be the most exciting in the museum’s development and it a great time to be involved.

Ripon Museum Trust is a close-knit community with strong values of fairness, ambition, community, teamwork and learning.
Come and be part of this brilliant team.
