If so, this job is for you! Since 1982 Ripon Museum Trust has run three museums in the heart of the City of Ripon.
We are looking for an energetic person who wants to deliver excellent customer service at an important cultural site in Ripon on a casual basis. As the Front of House Assistant, you will be first point of contact for visitors to the museums and be the one who sets the tone and standard for the visit. Working alongside our volunteer team, you’ll deliver first class customer service to every visitor who comes to one of our museums. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the museums are clean and tidy, fully stocked and ready to operate. They will provide excellent customer service and strive to meet and exceed the Trust’s targets for Gift Aid uptake, survey completion and mailing list uptake.
Ripon Museums seeks to use the heritage assets of the three museums to inspire people to seek a Fairer Society.
Location: Across all three of our sites. The Prison and Police, Workhouse and Courthouse museums
Salary: £10.83 per hour
Hours of work: As this is a casual hours post there is no start and finish date
Post length: This is a casual hours contract, hours will vary from week to week
