Opening Times
Our regularĀ opening hours are:
The Workhouse Museum & Garden is open daily 10am – 4pm.
The Prison & Police Museum is open daily 10am – 4pm.
The Courthouse Museum is open daily 1pm – 4pm. Please note there are no toilet facilities at the Courthouse Museum.
What’s on
- Our Easter activity programme takes place weekdays at the Workhouse Museum, between 10 pm and 4pm where we will be crafting, baking Victorian recipes in the kitchens and playing traditional games in the gardens.
- A brand-new exhibition celebrating forty years of Ripon Museum Trust is now open across our three museums. Follow the leaflet trail and walk in the footsteps of past generations through the Liberty Courthouse, Prison & Police Museum and Victorian Workhouse.
- Visit the Prison & Police Museum where you can view our Women in Policing exhibition which explores some of the first female police officers to join the force. Are there still issues to address in modern policing?
Museum tickets are valid for 12 months with unlimited return visits.
