Let’s find mummy! Sensory storytelling

Saturday 25th July, Saturday 8th and Monday 31st August, 12:15pm and 2:15pm

Ella has snuck away from the children’s block and is looking for her mummy! There are lots of jobs to be done at the workhouse, and Ella is not sure which job is Mummy’s. Does she work hard in the garden? Is she making sticky porridge in the kitchen? Find out in our messy sensory story, followed by free play.

This activity will be held on Saturday 25th July, Saturday 8th August and Monday 31st August. The first session will start at 12:15pm and the second session at 2:15pm. The story will run for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, followed by 40 minutes of play with all the props, including sticky porridge.

There is no need to book – just come along and join the fun! This activity is included in the price of your annual pass, or you can pay £2 per child on the day if you do not wish to purchase a pass.

This is one of the many fun and creative activities included in the price of your annual pass across our three museums. Make sure you check our ‘Things To Do’ page to see what we have coming up.
