Slime Making

Sticky, slimy, smelly… Gruel was what workhouse inmates had to eat for breakfast. Celebrate the reopening of Ripon Workhouse Museum by making your very own gruel. Don’t worry, we’re not going to eat it! Instead, get ready to be messy, as we’re turning it into slime.

The morning session will run between 10:30am-12:30pm and the afternoon session will run between 1:00pm-3:30pm.  There is no need to book – just come along and join the fun! This activity is included in the price of your annual pass, or you can pay £2 per child on the day if you do not wish to purchase a pass.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is suitable for children aged 4+ but please be aware that children will need adult supervision.
